The Client is currently seeking for its Munich location a

Senior Patent Manager

to develop and manage patent applications. The position reports to the Director of Intellectual Property and is supported by an IP Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Development and creation of new patent applications
• Prosecution of existing patent applications
• Interaction with external lawyers, scientists, and inventors
• Analysis of existing patents (prior art)
• FTO analyses
• Creation of invention applications
• Oversight of external IP positions
• Involvement the Publication Release Process

The ideal Candidate will have a degree in Biology or Biochemistry, preferably to PhD level, plus 1-2 years professional experience in patent management. Excellent written and spoken English and German language skills, a goal-oriented and thorough working style, and good team skills round out the profile for this exciting position.
