Position: Director Business Development
Reports to: CEO
The Client is a privately held biotechnology company near Munich, Germany. The company is focusing on the development of new therapeutic treatments of autoimmune diseases. The lead molecule is a soluble protein providing a proven strong immunosuppressive potential. The company was founded in 2002 as a spin-off from Academia.
Task:
· Manage all commercial and legal aspects of license arrangements or trade sales
· Evaluate and develop strategic partnerships, joint ventures and alliances, technology and intellectual licensing opportunities with other pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
Qualification:
· Degree in Science, Business or Law
· 3 years in Sales, Partnering and Contract Negotiation in Biotech environment, specifically within drug discovery and development areas
· Readiness to travel internationally
Personality:
· Fluent in German and English
· Highly independent working style
· Eager for generous participation in success
