Position:                      Project Manager Antibody Fragment Therapeutics

Reports to:                  CSO

The Client is a new VC-backed biotech Swiss company. It aims to deliver the next generation of antibody fragment therapeutics in diseases with a high unmet medical need.

Based on a validated antibody technology platform the Client comprises a portfolio of existing project, including clinical-stage, assets with ambitious plans for new programmes in CNS disease, dermatology, respiratory and other serious conditions.

Now, to complement the team as the company operations are established and external partnering and collaborations are developed the Client is looking to recruit a new scientific position reporting directly to the CSO of the Company. 

Tasks:

• You bring excellent project, portfolio and information management skills and apply them across the various R&D activities of the company
• You coordinate the company’s intellectual property rights portfolio in close interaction with IP firms
• You assist the CSO in other aspects of the company development which includes preparation and execution of typical biotech events, travelling to collaborators / customers, alliance management, attending conferences / networking events, competitive intelligence as well as handling of high-level administrative tasks.

Expected profile and experience

• PhD in one of the life sciences
• Hands-on, 4+ years of demonstrable experience in coordinating and driving R&D projects to success in a pharma and/or biotech environment.
• Good know-how of recombinant antibody technologies is a key advantage.
• Sound knowledge of intellectual property rights and associated processes.
• Strong business acumen.
• Delivery-focused while building productive long-term relationships and collaborations.
• Team-player; highly solution-oriented with a creative mindset.
