Client
Clients are high tech Life Sciences companies in German speaking countries providing innovative services to the drug discovery, the biopharmaceutical and vaccine industries; also to academia.
The companies serve Big Pharma and other clients across Europe, also in related industries. Time has come to specifically expand into North America.
Professional and continuous highly technical communication appears critical in broadening the companies' client and partner platforms in these markets. At the same time, proximity to the Europe based laboratories helps identifying the right solutions in constant interaction with the companies' scientists.
The companies search for bi-national German-American biologists who can play successfully on both sides of the Atlantic. The individuals would be based in Europe and be asked to travel about once a quarter to North America.
Responsibilities
Grow the clients' networks in North America
Design targeted Marketing & Sales Communications strategies. Execute the Marketing Plans in the USA & Canada
Identify and work on business development opportunities by managing daily client interaction
Develop relationships with key people within the specific industries to monitor the market; conduct market / competitive analyses
Position and market the technologies offering to achieve maximum value
Requirements
Degree in biology, biochemistry, or a closely related science
Excellent presentation and communication skills in both German and English
Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally
Certain experience in Life Sciences marketing and / or sales
Strong commercial mindset with drive to close deals and grow revenues
